Ashley Bosah still in charge at Tooting & Mitcham United for 2022-23 campaign

Tooting & Mitcham United have announced that Ashley Bosah will remain in charge next season.

Bosah and Cornelius Nwadialor had been in joint charge before the latter left his post in late March.

Bosah will be assisted by Myles Warren for the 2022-23 campaign.

Terrors chairman Steve Adkins said: “Between them they bring a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to our club.

“It is both our and their ambition to seek promotion to Isthmian Premier League and we are very hopeful of achieving this with their knowledge and skills.

“We also want to renew the ongoing project with our academy bringing through young players after the last two somewhat interrupted seasons.”

Tooting finished 15th in the Isthmian League South Central Division, taking 34 points from their 36 matches.

They won three of their final five fixtures to finish 13 points clear of drop danger.

Tooting were fourth in the table in the 2020-21 campaign but the Covid pandemic saw them complete just seven games before the season was curtailed.
