Charlton defender Sam Lavelle set to be assessed after picking up injury during win at Sunderland

Sam Lavelle is set to be assessed for a groin issue after being withdrawn during Charlton’s 1-0 win at Sunderland.
The centre-half made way for club skipper Jason Pearce just after the half-hour mark of the Addicks’ victory.
Caretaker boss Johnnie Jackson explained: “It’s a problem with his groin. He’s a bit sore at the minute. You never know, you have to wait until Monday and have a scan and have it assessed. I haven’t had a discussion with the physio yet. To come off that early, obviously something has gone wrong there.
“I was disappointed to lose him but when you’ve got a deputy like the club captain in Pearcey, you know what you’re going to get from him. Difficult for me to not be playing him from the off, to be honest. I made my choice but I know Pearcey is an able deputy.”
