Duo return to Crystal Palace first-team training
Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze have both returned to first-team training with Crystal Palace – but it is unclear whether the creative duo are ready to be available for selection for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Burnley.
Their return will be a huge boost to Roy Hodgson, who got the best out of Eze and Olise in the last 10 games of last season.
Eze scored six goals and picked up one assist under the now 76-year-old towards the back end of last season, which saw the Greenwich-born attacker selected for Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
The 25-year-old picked up a hamstring injury after the 1-0 win at Manchester United at the end of September.
Olise recorded six assists when Hodgson replaced Patrick Vieira and was selected for France’s U21 squad for the Euros in the summer.
The 21-year-old suffered a serious hamstring injury – which required surgery and sidelined him for the entire campaign so far – during France’s 1-0 win over Norway, with Olise scoring the winning goal in the game.
