Ex-Lion Scott Malone plays for Gillingham against Charlton Athletic in pre-season friendly
Former Millwall defender Scott Malone is on trial at Gillingham.
The Lions released the 32-year-old left-back in the summer.
Malone has started for the Gills in their pre-season friendly tonight against Charlton Athletic.
The former Fulham, Cardiff and Derby player also went with the Kent club to their pre-season camp in Como.
Gillingham boss Neil Herris told Kent Online: “Scott is a player we really like, a top player, but he is attracting a lot of interest from Championship clubs.
“Moving forward, just watch this space. There’s no pressure on Scottie with us. The door is open for him to train with us and play with us.
“At the moment it suits us. It might suit him, but it has to be a joint decision between Scott and myself about what happens, every 48 hours really. As long as it benefits both parties then I am really open minded.”
