‘Fully aware’ – Millwall boss Harris on summer transfer link to Notts County striker Langstaff

Millwall head coach Neil Harris says he is “fully aware” of the strengths of Notts County striker Macaulay Langstaff.

The Lions are interested in a deal for the 27-year-old, who won the Golden Boot in League Two last season.

Langstaff has been hugely prolific for both the Magpies and Gateshead in the last three seasons, finishing the top scorer in each of those campaigns.

Harris, asked about the situation surrounding Langstaff, told the South London Press: “I’m fully aware of what has been written in the press and leaked online. But I am not prepared to talk about other club’s players in detail.

“What I will say is I’m fully aware of the player, having started last season in League Two and seen a lot of the player at the start of the season and watched a lot of National League football the season before.

“I’m fully aware of his attributes.”
