Millwall chasing loan deal for highly-touted Leeds United centre-back
Millwall are hopeful of concluding a season-long loan deal for Leeds United’s Charlie Cresswell.
The 19-year-old centre-back is set to make a temporary move to the Championship to gain first-team experience.
And the Lions want the England U21 international as they will not be bringing Arsenal’s Dan Ballard back to SE16.
Northern Ireland international Ballard had looked set to sign for Burnley on a permanent transfer but that was not completed.
Cresswell made his debut for Leeds in the EFL Cup in September 2020 and in total he has played 138 minutes of Premier League football, spread across five appearances. He made his top-flight debut against West Ham United in September 2021.
