Millwall stay silent on loan move for Tottenham striker Troy Parrott

Millwall are staying tight-lipped on reports they are leading the loan chase for Tottenham striker Troy Parrott.

The Dublin-born frontman, 18, looks set to make a temporary exit from the north London giants.

But the South London Press understands the Lions are working on a deal for Parrott, who made his debut for Spurs at the age of 17 in an EFL Cup tie against Colchester United.

He was a loan target for Charlton in the January transfer window.

Parrott finished top scorer in the U19 UEFA Youth League in the 2019-20 season with six goals.

He made his Premier League debut in December, coming off the bench in a 5-0 victory over Burnley.

Parrott, who signed a new Tottenham contract until 2023 in February, had his appendix removed at the end of May.
