Trio of South London boxers in action at Copper Box Arena next month

Ted Cheeseman, Isaac Chamberlain and Craig Richards are all on Matchroom Boxing’s show at the Copper Box Arena on October 27.

Bermondsey’s unbeaten super-welterweight Ted Cheeseman has already shown he is one of the most exciting talents emerging domestically and faces Asinia Byfield for the vacant British title.

Cheeseman, 23, is 14-0 in the paid ranks and has already won the English belt as well as the WBA international strap – probably his standout display as he outpointed tough and respected American Carson Jones in February 2018.

Brixton cruiserweight Chamberlain has no easy return to the ring about an eight-month absence as he steps in with Luke “The Duke” Watkins.

Both men are coming off defeats to Lawrence Okolie.

Chamberlain (9-1) lost a wide unanimous points decision to the former GB Olympian in February and has not fought since.

Swindon’s Watkins (13-1) was knocked out by Okolie in June.

Richards – nicknamed “The Spider” – faces Jake Ball for the WBA intercontinental belt.

Craig Richards celebrates victory over Bosko Misic during the Light-Heavyweight bout at York Hall, London.

The Crystal Palace man is 12-1 and has produced two stoppage wins since losing a unanimous points decision to Frank Buglioni in October 2017 for the British title.

Ball has a record of 11-1 and has won four on the spin since being KO’d by JJ McDonagh in November 2016.
