13-year-old boy in ‘critical condition’ after being hit by car outside Stockwell Tube station
A 13-year-old boy has been taken to a major trauma unit after being hit by a car this morning.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Clapham Road and Stockwell Road, just outside Stockwell Tube station, at around 7.45am.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene.
A LAS spokeswoman said: “We were called at 7.42am today to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian at the junction between Stockwell Road and the A203.
“We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a child at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
A Met police spokesman added: “The boy has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.
“The boy’s next of kin have been informed.
“Local road closures are in place.”
