Bexley councillor praises pupils, parents and teachers after two challenging years

A Bexley councillor has praised pupils, parents and teachers for GCSE and A-level results this week.

Cabinet Member for Education, Cllr John Fuller said: “Despite the disruptions and difficulties everyone has faced, the outcomes for pupils have been excellent and they are now looking forward to exciting futures as they move to their next stage in learning and work.

“We have seen examples of the positive relationships between pupils and their teachers, who have ensured that results days have run smoothly and that support is in place for all pupils.

“We would like to congratulate pupils and their parents and carers on these achievements of which they should all be very proud.

“We would also like to thank school staff for the commitment and dedication they have shown in supporting pupils over the last two challenging years.”
