Man charged with murder of Battersea man
A man has been charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death in Battersea last month.
Earl Morin-Britton, 36, of Rose Hill, Sutton was arrested and later charged with the murder of Theo Porteous on Saturday.
The 32-year-old was found with “a number of knife wounds,” according to the Met, in Thessaly Road at around 12.35pm on August 24.
The London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended, and despite the efforts of medics to save him, Mr Porteous was sadly pronounced dead at the scene at around 1.10pm.
Morin-Britton has been remanded in custody to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.
