Man left hospitalised in a critical condition after hit and run

A 37-year-old man has been left hospitalised in a critical condition after hit and run in Bromley.

Cops were called at 3.37am on Saturday, August 28, after a man was found injured at the junction of Woodbank Road and Lincomb Road.

The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

His family have been informed.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for witnesses to help find the driver who was involved in the collision.

Detective Constable Samantha Searle, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We believe the person who was involved in the collision was driving a white or light coloured VW Golf which left before officers arrived.

“I am appealing for the person who was driving that car to do the right thing and come forward to police.

“I would also ask any witnesses or people with information about the collision to contact us immediately.”

If you can help, please call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC, quoting CAD 1087/28Aug. To remain anonymous contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
