Youngsters start the new year with a clean-up

To sweep in the new year, these youngsters donned boots, gloves and some warm clothing and hit the streets of South London to spruce up the area after the previous night’s revelries.

More than 50 members of the Ahmaddiya Muslim Youth Association, were up at the crack of dawn in Wimbledon and cleared the area around Wimbledon railway station, Centre Court and Wimbledon Broadway and made it nice for shoppers to pick up a bargain or two in the surrounding shops.
