Brixton BMX Club have big turnout form London Series event in Peckham

Brixton BMX Club fielded 33 riders at round three of the London Series at Peckham’s Burgess Park track.

Isla Radcliffe came fourth in the novice girls (8-10) while Harvey Tomlinson (novice males 8-9) finished first in the A final. Frankie McFadden was fourth in the B final. 

Billy Mackie (males 10-11 novices), came fourth in the A final with Riley Samett third in the B event. For males 12-13 novices, Ezra Thompson crossed the line fourth in the A final, with Conor Carter sixth. 

Kian Whiteman-Cole came third in the males 14-15 novices, with Jaden Wiggins seventh. Stephan Koehler was first in the novice male 17-plus.

For male 7-and-under experts, Ignacy Lurek was seventh in the A final. Rian Koehler and George Cavanagh Clarke bagged first and third respectively in the B final.

In the expert male 10-11 category, Brixton’s Lukah McKenzie finish fourth and Leon Bickelmann came across the line in sixth.

Iyarna Nembard (female 14-16 experts) was fourth. Alex Taylor achieved first in his B final (male 12-13 expert) with Johnny Jenner (male 17-29 expert B final) achieving third. 

In the 17+ cruiser category, riders from Brixton BMX Club featured heavily with Mario Berno first and backed up by Tom Schwimmbeck (second), John Peck (third), Philip Weltzein (fourth) and Mike Woof (seventh). 

Schwimmbeck, 15, was riding up an age class.

Brixton head coach Adrian Martin came first in the expert male 30+ category.
